Come On In!

Welcome to my site!

I have been writing professionally for five years, and in that time I have self-published four books.

Two are collections of short works called Dark & Fluffy I & II, one is an eBook collection of flash fiction, each piece is exactly 500 words. The latest book is a fantasy novella called the Rue Stone. The purchasing link for these books is below.

However, my passion is medieval fiction and I am in the midst of working on my first novel. I am a member of Jericho Writers and using their course I am currently working through the second draft. The story is set in the 13th century in my home city of Lincoln, this gives me plenty of inspiration and information to incorporate into my writing. I am also shortly being published in a Lincolnshire anthology in conjunction with Lincoln University, more exciting details about this to follow.

I am a student with the Writer’s Bureau www.writersbureaucourse.com, and I am now thrilled to be able to offer my services for your commercial writing needs as I have just received my certificate in copywriting https://wordpress.com/edit/jetpack-portfolio/janetstockwriter.co.uk/572. I have recently been working on freelance contracts providing SEO content writing, and examples of these are on my Portfolio page. I am able to offer many other services. Please see the testimonial below, and my Janet Stock Copywriter page for further details of how I can help your business.

    1. I do have a breakout story from The Little Servant in Dark & Fluffy II, called Gisella. It’s about a female performer that Benedict is mesmerised with at a competition for a minstrel’s position.

Your passion for the subject of history and for the area in which you live shows through in the writing of this piece (St Mary’s Guildhall). It really is a fascinating, well-structured and entertaining piece.
